Why We Aren’t Updating the Game Anymore
We want to be completely transparent（坦诚的，公开透明的） about the future of Totally Accurate Battle Simulator (TABS). Therefore, we would like to share some context（背景） regarding（关于） why the Neon Update will be our final（最终的） planned release（（游戏）版本；发布）.
There are two main reasons for this decision:
- We Are Ready for Something New
We have been working on TABS for nine years now—almost a whole decade（十年）! As much as we absolutely adore（喜爱，热爱） this game, we are ready to create something brand new（全新的，崭新的）.
If you follow us on social media, you might have already seen prototypes（原型，雏形） for our upcoming（即将推出的，即将到来的） game, HASTE: Broken Worlds. You can sign up for news at runfastgame.com or add it to your Steam wishlist（愿望清单） today.
- Technical Limitations（技术层面存在局限）
Because TABS has been in development for so long, the game’s underlying（底层的，基础的） code has become incredibly（极其，非常） difficult to maintain（维护，维持）.
Today, it can take our designers an entire day of crashes（（程序）崩溃，闪退） just to load（加载（文件、程序）） the project files.
Furthermore（此外，而且）, whenever we change one thing, it often breaks something else and creates new bugs（（程序）漏洞，故障）.
This technical strain（压力，负担） forced us to reevaluate（重新评估） our plans for future content, such as the Hero Unit and extra features（功能，特性） for the Unit Creator.
Put simply（简而言之，简单来说）, it is no longer practical（可行的，实际的） to develop new features when the project is in this state.
The Power(力量） of the Community（玩家社区的力量）
Thankfully（幸好，值得庆幸的是）, TABS will live on through you. The community（社区，玩家群体） workshop（工坊（游戏中特指创意工坊）） has already reached an incredible milestone（里程碑）: over 2.3 million custom（自定义的，定制的） units, campaigns（（游戏）战役模式）, maps, and factions（派系，阵营）!
When we designed the Unit Creator and the Map Creator, our goal was to give you the tools to keep innovating（创新，革新）. Thanks to your endless（无尽的，无穷的） creativity（创造力）, players will never run out of new units to test, maps to fight on, or campaigns to conquer（征服，通关）.
